Choosing the right floor mat

Check the year band, the cab (Regular, SuperCab or SuperCrew on the F-150; extended or crew on the Super Duty) and the row. A Regular Cab F-150 has no second row, so the rear mat does not apply. Pick a lip mat or a walled liner by how much slush you carry in: a liner holds more but sits higher under the pedals. What is the difference between a floor mat and a floor liner?

A floor mat lies flat with a raised outer lip; a floor liner has a moulded wall that runs up the footwell and kick panel. Liners hold more melt water, mats are easier to lift out and shake.
