TorkLift Front Hitches & EcoHitch Receivers

0 products

TorkLift front hitch receivers and hidden EcoHitch trailer hitches, all with a 2 inch receiver, built by TorkLift International in Washington state. The Front North-hitch bolts to the frame of the F-150, F-250 and F-350 Super Duty, Ram 2500 and 3500 and the Silverado and Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD, with a stainless steel version for the 2016-2026 F-150. The stainless steel Hidden EcoHitch and Stealth EcoHitch put a rear receiver on vehicles that rarely get a factory hitch option: Tesla Model S, 3 and Y, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Chevrolet Equinox EV, Toyota RAV4, Subaru and BMW.

TorkLift also makes truck camper tie-downs and turnbuckles. Absolute Autoguard ships TorkLift across Canada from Winnipeg.

Front receivers for pickups and stainless steel EcoHitch receivers for cars and EVs

TorkLift International is a Washington state manufacturer known for truck camper tie-downs and for two hitch lines that fill gaps the big towing brands leave: front receivers for pickups and hidden rear receivers for cars, crossovers and EVs. Every one uses a standard 2 inch receiver opening. The Front North-hitch is listed for the 2023-2026 Ford trucks, the 2016-2026 F-150 in stainless steel, the 2019-2026 Ram 2500 and 3500 and the 2020-2026 Chevrolet and GMC HD. The EcoHitch is listed for the 2020-2026 Toyota RAV4, 2022-2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 and 2024-2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV, and as a Class 3 Stealth version for the 2021-2026 Tesla Model S.

Stainless steel construction on the EcoHitch and the F-150 North-hitch is the main reason to choose these over a painted mild-steel hitch in Manitoba: road salt gets under a powder coat at the receiver mouth within a few winters.

Front North-hitch receivers for pickups

A frame-mounted 2 inch receiver at the front bumper of the Super Duty, Ram 2500 and 3500 and Silverado and Sierra HD, in stainless steel for the 2016-2026 F-150. Owners use it to push a trailer into a tight spot with the coupler in view, or to carry a winch cradle, spare tire carrier or cargo basket.

Hidden EcoHitch for cars, crossovers and EVs

A rear receiver that mounts behind the bumper with only the 2 inch tube visible, on the Toyota RAV4, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Chevrolet Equinox EV and Subaru, Kia, Volkswagen, BMW and Mercedes-Benz models. Stainless steel, for bike racks, cargo carriers and light trailers within the vehicle's own tow rating.

Stealth EcoHitch for Tesla

The Class 3 stainless steel Stealth EcoHitch for the 2021-2026 Tesla Model S, with Model 3 and Model Y listings as well. The receiver tube removes, so nothing shows behind the fascia when it is not in use.

Camper tie-downs

Frame-mounted truck camper tie-downs and turnbuckles are the products TorkLift built its name on. Ask if you do not see a set for your truck.

Why TorkLift

  • Front receivers for current heavy-duty trucks. Bolt-on North-hitch listings for the 2019-2026 Ram 2500 and 3500, 2020-2026 Silverado and Sierra HD and 2023-2026 Ford.
  • Stainless steel. The EcoHitch line and the F-150 North-hitch are stainless, not painted, which matters on salted Prairie roads.
  • EV and hybrid coverage. Listings for the Ioniq 5, Equinox EV and Tesla Model S, 3 and Y, where a factory hitch is often unavailable.
  • Standard 2 inch receiver. Every TorkLift hitch takes the same accessories as a 2 inch receiver from CURT or Draw-Tite.

Choosing the right TorkLift hitch

For a front receiver, confirm the truck's model year and check the product page notes for bumper style and parking sensors. A front receiver is for manoeuvring and carrying accessories, not a substitute for the rear hitch on the road. For an EcoHitch, match the exact model year range (the Ioniq 5 has separate 2022-2024 and 2025-2026 listings) and confirm the tow rating in the owner manual, because many EVs are rated for a bike rack and little else. If you are not sure what fits, contact us with your year, make, model and configuration.

Common questions

What is a front hitch receiver used for?

Mostly for moving trailers: with the trailer on the front you can see the coupler and steer it into a boat launch or storage bay. It also carries a winch mount or cargo basket within the receiver's rating.

Can I put a trailer hitch on a Tesla?

Yes. TorkLift's Class 3 Stealth EcoHitch is listed for the 2021-2026 Model S, with Model 3 and Model Y versions in the collection. Tow within Tesla's published rating for your model; many owners use it for a bike rack.

What is the difference between the Hidden EcoHitch and the Stealth EcoHitch?

The Hidden EcoHitch leaves the receiver tube visible below the fascia; the Stealth version has a removable tube so nothing shows when not in use. Both are stainless steel 2 inch receivers.

Why buy a stainless steel hitch?

Because it does not depend on a coating. A painted hitch rusts where the coating chips at the receiver mouth and bolt holes; stainless holds up through Manitoba road salt without touch-up.
